Terms of Service

The Service is owned and operated by Pincheck, Inc., a corporation reachable at info@pincheck.xyz. These Terms should be read together with our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated here by reference.

You must be at least 18 years old and able to form a binding contract to use the Service. You are responsible for the activity that happens under your account and for keeping your login credentials secure.

When you sign up you choose a public @handle. Reviewees and reviewers only ever see that handle — never your real name or the identity behind your Google or GitHub login.

judged.dev is a reciprocal feedback exchange. Roughly every 12 hours you are matched with one other member: you review the app they submitted, and someone reviews yours. You agree to submit only links you have the right to share, and to write feedback that is your own, good-faith, original work.

Each review you receive can be rated by the person who received it as high- or low-quality. These ratings help us keep the exchange useful for everyone.

You agree that every review you submit will:

• be at least 150 words of genuine, actionable feedback about the app you were assigned;
• be relevant to that specific app — no copy-pasted, templated, AI-dumped, or off-topic filler;
• be respectful and free of harassment, hate, or spam; and
• reflect an honest effort to actually use and evaluate the app.

You also agree not to rate the reviews you receive dishonestly — for example, marking a reasonable review negative just to avoid returning the favor.

Pincheck, Inc. reserves the right, at its sole and absolute discretion, to suspend or permanently ban any user who exhibits a pattern of low-quality feedback, or who otherwise abuses the Service.

This includes, without limitation, users who repeatedly: submit reviews that fall below the quality standards above, receive negative quality ratings, submit lazy, templated, or automated feedback, skip or dodge their review assignments, rate others' reviews unfairly, or attempt to game the matching or rating system. A ban may be issued at our discretion and does not entitle you to a refund of any fees already paid.

We may (but are not obligated to) warn you first, and our founder reviews negatively-rated reviews before penalties are applied. Nothing in this section limits our right to act immediately where we believe it is warranted.

New accounts receive a free trial of 2 review cycles. After that, continued use is a flat membership of $18 per month, billed through our payment processor. You can cancel at any time from your billing settings; cancellation stops future charges but does not refund the current period. Being banned for the conduct described above does not entitle you to a refund.

The only thing we store about your project is the URL you submit. We do not store your source code, and the feedback exchanged on the Service is kept private — shared only between the reviewer, the reviewee, and Pincheck, Inc. administrators. See our Privacy Policy for full details.

You retain ownership of the feedback you write. You grant Pincheck, Inc. a limited license to store and deliver it to the intended reviewee and to operate, secure, and improve the Service.

You agree not to:

• submit unlawful, infringing, or malicious links or content;
• attempt to de-anonymize, harass, or contact other members outside the Service;
• scrape, reverse-engineer, or disrupt the Service or its matching and rating systems; or
• use the Service to send spam or solicitations.

Because reviewers are matched to your link sight-unseen, the app or site you submit must let an ordinary reviewer give basic feedback freely and safely. You must not submit a URL that:

• requires payment before a reviewer can access it or leave basic feedback;
• requires a reviewer to install any software to view or evaluate it;
• subjects visitors to pop-ups; or
• contains sexual, violent, or otherwise inappropriate material.

The Service is built around links that members submit, and those links point to third-party websites and apps that Pincheck, Inc. does not own, operate, or control. We do not vet, endorse, or guarantee the safety of any link you are asked to review. You click on and interact with third-party links entirely at your own discretion and risk.

If you are concerned that a link contains malware or inappropriate material, stop interacting with it and let us know. You can report it using the report feature on your dashboard when you open an assigned review, or by emailing us at info@pincheck.xyz. Reporting a link is never held against you — you won't be penalized for flagging it or for not completing that review.

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind. Feedback exchanged on the Service is the opinion of individual members and is not professional advice. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Pincheck, Inc. will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, and our total liability arising out of the Service will not exceed the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim.

We may update these Terms from time to time; material changes will be reflected by the “Last updated” date above and, where appropriate, by notice to you. You may stop using the Service at any time, and you may delete your account from your settings. We may suspend or terminate your access as described in these Terms.
