Privacy Policy

Last updated: July 20, 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how Pincheck, Inc. (β€œPincheck,” β€œwe,” β€œus,” or β€œour”), the operator of the judged.dev service (the β€œService”), collects, uses, and protects your information. Privacy is core to how judged.dev works: we keep what we collect to a minimum, and the feedback exchanged on the Service is never public.

01The short version

  • We do not store your source code.
  • We do not publish reviews β€” ever.
  • Every review is shared privately, only between the reviewer, the reviewee, and Pincheck, Inc. administrators.
  • The only thing we store about your project is the URL you choose to submit.
  • Reviewees and reviewers only ever see your public @handle β€” never your real name.

02What we collect

We collect only what we need to run the Service:

  • Account basics. When you sign in with Google or GitHub, we receive a provider ID and profile picture and store the public @handle you choose. We do not store or display your real name from the provider.
  • The link you submit. The single URL of the app or site you want reviewed. That is the only thing about your project we store β€” not your code, files, analytics, or anything behind the link.
  • Feedback you write and receive. The text of reviews, and the high/low quality ratings attached to them.
  • Billing data. Handled by our payment processor (Stripe). We do not store full card numbers on our servers.
  • Basic operational logs. Standard technical data needed to keep the Service running and secure.

03What we do NOT collect or store

We do not store your source code, repositories, or the contents of your app. Submitting a link never gives us access to your codebase, and we never ask for it. Beyond the single URL you submit, we do not crawl, copy, or retain the material behind that link.

04Reviews are private β€” never published

Reviews on judged.dev are never made public. We do not publish, sell, syndicate, or display reviews on any public page, leaderboard, or feed.

Each piece of feedback is shared privately and only with the people who need it:

  • The reviewer β€” the member who wrote it;
  • The reviewee β€” the member whose app it is about; and
  • Pincheck, Inc. administrators β€” a small team, for quality control, dispute resolution, and enforcing our standards.

No other member of the Service can see feedback that was not written by or addressed to them.

05How we use your information

We use the information above only to:

  • match you with another member each cycle and deliver reviews;
  • operate ratings, billing, and your account;
  • maintain feedback quality and enforce our Terms of Service; and
  • keep the Service secure and comply with the law.

We do not sell your personal information or your feedback.

06Who we share with

Beyond the private review-sharing described above, we share data only with service providers that help us operate β€” for example our payment processor and hosting/database infrastructure β€” under agreements that limit their use of the data. We may also disclose information if required by law or to protect the rights and safety of our members and the Service.

07Data retention & your choices

We keep your data for as long as your account is active. You can delete your account at any time from your settings; doing so removes your user record and the submissions, reviews, and ratings tied to it. Some records may be retained where required for legal, security, or accounting reasons.

You may request access to or deletion of your personal information by emailing us at info@pincheck.xyz.

08Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information. No system is perfectly secure, but keeping the amount of data we hold small β€” no code, no public reviews β€” is a deliberate part of how we protect you.

09Changes & contact

We may update this Policy from time to time; the β€œLast updated” date above reflects the latest version. Questions or privacy requests can be sent to info@pincheck.xyz.
